Distillery – Quebec: our whiskeys
Augustin Whisky
42.5% alc/vol
Augustin Whisky is intended as a reminder of our Augustinian origins and the raison d'être of Vice & Vertu. Having made its debut at the end of the distillery's 10th anniversary celebrations in the spring of 2026, this exceptional whisky stands out for its 100% Canadian rye composition and its 5-year aging in Cognac casks.
On the nose, an intoxicating freshness transports us to fruity aromas of pears, peaches, and ripe grapes, which gently give way to candied fruit and a honeyed sweetness. On the palate, notes of dried fruit and orange marmalade intertwine with hints of sweet pepper, cinnamon, and a subtle touch of oak imparted by the barrel.
The influence of cognac brings a fruity depth that tempers the peppery and lively character of the rye, creating a harmonious balance between power and finesse.

Portneuf Whiskey
42.1% alc/vol
Portneuf Whisky made its debut on December 17, 2024, during a joint launch with Origine Whisky. This whisky takes its name from the quality of corn grown in the region of the same name. Our Bourbon-inspired whisky is composed of 70% Neuville corn, 15% rye, and 15% wheat. It was aged for three years in new American oak barrels.
It is characterized by rich and inviting aromas where corn dominates with sweet notes of butterscotch and toasted corn. Rye adds a touch of spice and freshly cut grass, while wheat contributes a delicate hint of vanilla. A long and harmonious finish where the rye spices linger, supported by notes of bitter cocoa and burnt caramel. A gentle, enveloping warmth completes the experience.

The Origin Whisky
40% alc./vol.
Origine Whisky is the first whisky from the Vice & Vertu distillery. It is, in fact, the first oak barrel filled at the distillery. Indeed, December 17, 2024, marked the culmination of an adventure that began in 2019. The distillery's first whisky was released; a whisky made from 100% soft white winter wheat, a grain specially selected by the distillery.
This whisky stands out with its gentle aromas of sourdough bread, custard, ripe banana, and a touch of nutmeg. On the palate, the silky, rounded texture typical of wheat envelops the palate with cereal flavors and a hint of white chocolate. The elegant and delicate finish is marked by a lingering, comforting warmth reminiscent of brown butter and crème brûlée.
